This one-of-a-kind statement ring features an extraordinary oval malachite with dramatic looping bands in rich emerald and deep forest green. Tucked along one edge is a natural touch of azurite, introducing a hint of blue that makes the greens appear even more vibrant.

The stone is secured by eight substantial prongs and balanced on a hand-forged double split shank, textured with my signature facet hammer finish. Although the stone measures just over an inch tall, the wide shank distributes the weight beautifully, making this bold ring surprisingly comfortable to wear.

The Story

Malachite has fascinated people for thousands of years. Every band records another season of growth deep within the earth, creating patterns that no artist could ever repeat.

This particular stone immediately caught my eye. The sweeping concentric bands seem to ripple across its surface, while the small area of natural azurite adds an unexpected flash of blue—a reminder that nature rarely colors inside the lines.

Rather than competing with the stone, I designed the setting to frame it with strength and simplicity. Eight prongs keep it exceptionally secure, while the forged silver shank adds quiet texture without stealing the spotlight.
