An elongated drop of richly patterned shattuckite suspended beneath a simple sterling silver halo on one of my favorite chains I make.

This necklace is all about the stone. The shattuckite has incredible natural color variation, shifting from deep moody blue-green near the top into brighter turquoise tones toward the bottom, with earthy reddish inclusions running through the surface like brushstrokes or mineral veins. The long tapered shape gives the piece an elegant, almost stalactite-like silhouette that feels organic and sculptural without being heavy.

A small sterling silver circle above the stone adds just enough structure and balance to frame the pendant cleanly while still letting the stone remain the focus.

The pendant hangs from my sterling silver station bead chain — a chain I genuinely love using because it catches the light beautifully and adds detail without competing with the centerpiece. It gives the entire necklace a refined, finished feel that makes it just as beautiful from a distance as it is up close.
