The Iron & Ember Necklace brings together the warmth of a glowing natural hessonite garnet and the dark, graceful curves of hand-forged sterling silver. Inspired by the ornamental scrollwork of antique wrought-iron gates, this one-of-a-kind pendant is dramatic in its details yet beautifully understated when worn.
At its center hangs a magnificent faceted hessonite garnet measuring over an inch tall, with rich cinnamon-red and fiery orange tones that come alive in the sunlight. Above the gemstone, sculptural curls of oxidized sterling silver are accented with touches of solid 14K yellow gold, creating a striking contrast of light and dark.
The pendant measures just under two inches long and hangs from an oxidized sterling silver rounded box chain. The chain's dark finish complements the pendant beautifully, allowing the garnet's extraordinary color to take center stage.

Care Instructions
To clean your Mettle by Abby pieces, simply use a soft toothbrush in warm, mild soapy water. This will help remove dirt and oil from the gemstones and make them shine again, as well as keep the silver and gold looking bright and clean.
To polish silver Mettle by Abby pieces, simply buff with a silver polishing cloth. If you really want to give it a shining, you can use a silver polishing cream and then rinse it with water when done.
