Some gemstones feel like little landscapes.
These natural pear-shaped chrysoprase gemstones are filled with soft, luminous greens that seem to shift between tranquil water, rolling hills, and misty skies. Along the base of each stone, a touch of warm earthy matrix creates the impression of a quiet shoreline where land meets sea.
Each chrysoprase is nestled within my signature Petal Setting, a hand-forged sterling silver design inspired by the graceful curves of flower petals. The open setting allows the gemstones to take center stage while adding an airy elegance that complements their natural beauty.
Measuring approximately 2 inches in total length, these earrings have beautiful movement while remaining lightweight enough for everyday wear.
I've always been drawn to gemstones that invite your imagination.
The first time I looked at these chrysoprase stones, I didn't just see green. I saw water. I saw atmosphere. I saw the edge of a quiet beach where gentle waves meet the shore.
That's one of my favorite things about natural gemstones. Two people can look at the same stone and each discover something different.
I designed my Petal Setting to frame these tiny landscapes without distracting from them. Sometimes a gemstone already tells a story—you simply have to listen.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
To clean your Mettle by Abby pieces, simply use a soft toothbrush in warm, mild soapy water. This will help remove dirt and oil from the gemstones and make them shine again, as well as keep the silver and gold looking bright and clean.
To polish silver Mettle by Abby pieces, simply buff with a silver polishing cloth. If you really want to give it a shining, you can use a silver polishing cream and then rinse it with water when done.
