Black Star Ring with 14k Yellow Gold Bezel

The Story
This is the kind of stone that makes you look twice.

The Black Star Ring features an approximately 8mm black spinel with an unusual finish designed to emphasize every angle of its geometric cut. The stone is faceted, given a soft sandblasted finish, and then selectively burnished across the facets—creating flashes of light against the velvety black surface and making the pattern of the stone impossible to ignore.

The black spinel is bezel set in solid 14k yellow gold, creating a warm, clean frame around the dark stone, and paired with my signature facet-hammered Argentium sterling silver band. The result is graphic and modern, but still unmistakably handmade.

Currently a size 6.5, this ring can be resized at no additional charge, including quarter sizes, for a made-for-you fit.
