Description
The Arc Ring is built around one long, continuous sweep of sterling silver that curves around a ridiculously sparkly iolite sunstone before coming back to meet itself. It’s open, sculptural, and a little unexpected—the kind of ring that changes depending on which angle you’re looking at it from.
At the center is an oval iolite sunstone just over 1/2 inch tall, full of tiny flashes of pink, copper, gold, and violet. Beside it sits a substantial disc of solid 14k rose gold, pulling those warmer colors forward and giving the whole piece one beautiful little hit of contrast.
It’s a statement ring, absolutely—but all that open space keeps it from feeling heavy.
The Story
I keep coming back to the idea that the sky is never really one thing.
You can look straight into it. You can look across it. You can watch light move through it and completely change what you thought you were seeing.
The Arc Ring feels like that to me.
The silver doesn't simply frame the stone. It travels around it in one continuous line—sweeping out, coming back, changing the shape of the ring as your eye follows it.
And then there's that little disc of rose gold.
I added it because it pulls out the pink fire hiding inside the iolite sunstone, but I love what it does to the design as a whole. It's this small, warm interruption against all that cool silver and stormy violet.
A little bit of light sneaking in.

Care Instructions
To clean your Mettle by Abby pieces, simply use a soft toothbrush in warm, mild soapy water. This will help remove dirt and oil from the gemstones and make them shine again, as well as keep the silver and gold looking bright and clean.
To polish silver Mettle by Abby pieces, simply buff with a silver polishing cloth. If you really want to give it a shining, you can use a silver polishing cream and then rinse it with water when done.
