Suspended from a delicate yet sturdy 14-karat gold spiga (rope) chain, it's designed to layer beautifully while still having enough presence to wear on its own. The lightweight clasp also helps keep the necklace where it belongs instead of constantly rotating to the front.

Why I Love This Design

I call this my belted setting.

By wrapping a single band of gold around the center of the stone, nearly all of the labradorite remains visible while using much less metal than a traditional bezel. The result is a design with maximum visual gold, exceptional security, and a much friendlier price than you'd expect for a solid 14-karat gold necklace.

Every stone is also carefully and securely set by hand in my studio, because beautiful jewelry should be made to be worn—not worried about.
