Collection: Pink and Red

Pink & Red Gemstone Jewelry | Color, Passion & Warmth

I was never much of a girly girl growing up, and pink wasn't a color I particularly loved. But the older I've gotten, the more I've come to appreciate it. I've even realized that so much of the artwork I've always been drawn to is full of pink.

There's something incredibly comforting about it. Soft pinks feel warm, gentle, and familiar. They remind me of flower petals, the warmth of skin, and those beautiful, subtle colors that exist throughout the natural world.

And then there's red.

Red is powerful. It's passionate, unapologetic, and full of life. It can be romantic or fierce, earthy or electric. I love its intensity and the way even a small amount of red can completely transform a piece of jewelry.

Maybe part of what draws me to these colors is how deeply familiar they are. They're the colors of warmth, of life, of being human. In a strange and wonderful way, pink and red feel like home to me.

Natural Gemstones in Every Shade of Pink & Red

This collection brings together my handmade pink and red gemstone jewelry, from delicate blush and dusty rose to vibrant fuchsia, rich crimson, and deep wine-colored stones.

I love the variations within these colors. Some gemstones are soft and luminous, others saturated and dramatic. Some have unexpected inclusions, shifting tones, or natural patterns that make them especially interesting.

Whether I'm working with a subtle pink stone or a bold red gemstone, I let its individual character guide the design.

Handmade Jewelry with Feeling

I'm Abby Meadows, the metalsmith behind Mettle by Abby, and I create my jewelry in Woodstock, Georgia, using natural gemstones, solid 14k gold, Argentium sterling silver, and traditional metalsmithing techniques.

You'll find handmade gemstone rings, earrings, necklaces, and other one-of-a-kind pieces in this collection. Some are delicate and understated; others are bold and impossible to ignore.

Each piece is created with an appreciation for the beauty, personality, and emotional pull of natural color. My selection is always evolving as jewelry sells and new designs come out of my studio.
