Weeping Willow Necklace // Hand-Painted Porcelain, Hand-Forged Sterling Silver Necklace

A weeping willow symbolizes strength even in the midst of turmoil. The strong trunk of the tree withstands the storm and the branches swing and dance in the air. This piece can serve as a reminder to you that you may bend and dance and feel the storm around you, but you will not break. The pale, light blue willow leaves are sweet and soft. Set in a twisted and forged silver setting made just for this piece, the silver dances and twirls much like the leaves and branches.

Celebrate your strength.

This piece is part of a collaboration collection. The cabochon, or gem, is handmade and hand-painted porcelain by local artist Yesha Panchal and the jewelry was hand-forged by local artist Abby Meadows. Both totally one of a kind parts come together in a completely new piece of wearable art you won’t find anywhere else. Find out more about this collection and how it came together here!

I made this 2.5'' pendant on a 24'' chain that will hang just below most collar bones, but if you would like a 16'' 18 " 20'' 24'' or 30'' chain, just let me know in the notes at checkout!

To clean your Mettle by Abby pieces, simply use a soft toothbrush in warm, mild soapy water. This will help remove dirt and oil from the gemstones and make them shine again, as well as keep the silver and gold looking bright and clean.

To polish silver Mettle by Abby pieces, simply buff with a silver polishing cloth. If you really want to give it a shining, you can use a silver polishing cream and then rinse it with water when done.
